The Objectives of ISMS

Develop and implement policies, processes and standards which will address the protection of the organization’s information assets from all threats – internal as well as external.
Continually improve the information security management system through the establishment and regular review of measurable security objectives at relevant functions and levels of the organization.
Provide all employees with regular information security training to ensure that the ISMS objectives are met and increase their information security awareness.
Perform periodic information security risk assessments, internal audits and implement information security controls to mitigate the identified risks.
Monitor to prevent unauthorized physical and logical access, damage and interference to the organization’s information and information processing facilities.
Communicate all pertinent security policies to customers, employees and other interested parties as applicable.
Comply with the legal, regulatory and contractual information security requirements.
Continually monitor and improve the effectiveness of the information security management system.
Ensure protection of the organization’s assets that is accessible by the third parties and to ensure an agreed level of information security and service delivery is in line with third party agreements.
