MOX Gateway Records 500 Million Page Views in Local Languages in May 2019!

MOX Gateway, the localization platform of  Process9, reached a milestone of delivering over 500 million page views last month in Indian languages such as Hindi, Marathi and Kannada.

The cloud based platform, that is currently serving multilingual versions of over 25 leading Internet and non-Internet companies in India recorded its highest ever usage in May, giving a strong testament to the rising local language user base on the Internet. The highest user traffic was received in the Entertainment & BFSI sectors, accounting for over 60% of the total traffic.

Other sectors seeing traction are coming from the Healthcare, Entertainment, and Classified listing domains. With smartphones and Internet becoming more affordable, India is witnessing a surge of new users coming online. According to a report published by Google & KPMG, 9 out of 10 new Internet users coming online today are local language users. Businesses are gearing up to address this user segment by adding vernacular languages to their call centres, SMS & Whatsapp communications, mobile apps and websites.
